Hey! I’m Maria, a curious and passionate brand designer, based in Portugal and available worldwide.

With a decade of experience and a master degree in Communication Design, I have worked with agencies and brands in different business areas — including one of the world’s Big Four consulting firms — improving their visual communication in all media.

Currently with my studio, I specialise in brand design, helping businesses making their positive impact in the world.

I believe and work in a 4-day workweek model for some years now.

I'm passionate about:

• changing the way we work and live

• discussing education, mental health, motherhood, equality, justice and financial literacy

• learning, teaching, inspiring

I also teach Graphic Design at the university, and I’m often invited to give lectures, mentoring sessions and workshops in schools, museums and other institutions.

I love to make people smile through my handmade art. I make type-inspired paintings, and build ceramic pieces that can actually be used with my husband and my father-in-law.

When I’m not working, I travel a lot with my husband and my two kids, and spend time with my family and friends.
